Counselling For Anxiety
Do you think you need counselling for anxiety?
At some point in our lives we all feel some form of anxiety and this is a normal response to a stressful situation. It is usual to feel anxious before exams, in awkward social situations or starting a new job. What makes one person anxious may not create the same reaction in another. While anxiety is an everyday feeling, it can become an issue when there is no apparent cause for that anxiety, or when it continues for more than a few of weeks. It becomes an issue when the symptoms affect everyday living and occurs when the persons response to a situation is more severe than what might be typically expected in that situation.
While anxiety is something everyone experiences it becomes debilitating when it prevents you from enjoying your daily life. When someone experiences acute symptoms of anxiety resulting in panic attacks it creates a vicious cycle which the person can become locked it. This is a very scary place to be.
