Covid 19 Policy
The following practices will be adhered too in order to comply with the COVID-19 measures identified by the HSE. This policy is subject to change depending on recommendations from the HSE and relevant bodies.
All clients will be screened before commencing/resuming therapy.
Screening questions for clients:
Do you have symptoms of cough, fever, high temperature, sore throat, runny nose, breathlessness or flu like symptoms now or in the past 14 days? Yes/No,
Have you been diagnosed with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 infection in the last 14 days? Yes/No,
Are you a close contact of a person who is a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days Yes/No,
Have you been advised by a doctor to self-isolate at this time? Yes/No,
Have you been advised by a doctor to cocoon at this time? Yes/No.
Covid-19 posters will be displayed on the premises.
Hand sanitizer will be provided on the premises.
Hand wash, warm water and paper hand towels are available in the bathroom.
Poster on hand washing etiquette is displayed in the bathroom.
Clients will be encouraged to sanitize hands when arriving and leaving the premises.
Cleaning of contact areas will be conducted after each client.
Tissues are provided as well as bins for their disposal.
Bins will be emptied at regular intervals.
Bottled water will be provided.
Social distancing will be maintained within the therapy room.
Hand shaking or hugging is not permitted.
Door will be open on clients arrival so they don’t have to touch door handles.
Suspected cases will be advised to attend their GP for referral for testing.
Client identification number will be used for record keeping in case that contact tracing will be required. The nature of our relationship will not be disclosed if contact tracing is required.
